An Israeli drone Saturday afternoon targeted a civilian car in the Lebanese town of Jadra, north of Saida. The strike resulted in the martyrdom of two individuals and the injury of several others.
According to Lebanese media outlets, the attack was aimed at a “Palestinian figure” who miraculously survived the strike. The three individuals who lost their lives were not the intended targets of the attack, but innocent bystanders.
Further reports indicated that after the initial missile was fired at the car, a second missile was launched at civilians who had rushed to the scene to help, resulting in even more casualties.
In a related context, the Israeli occupation continues its aggression on Lebanese villages, mainly those located on the border with occupied Palestine.
