Syrian Karate Team Wins 6 Medals, including two golds, at Arab Women Sports Tournament in Sharjah

Naseeb Sports Club, which represents Syria in karate at the Arab Women Sports Tournament, currently held in the emirate of Sharjah, has won six medals in individual fighting competitions.

Mays Qara Falah won gold medal for the under 55 kg, Natalie Azzam won gold medal for the under 68 kg, Hadil Abu Ruslan won silver medal in individual kata, Rahaf Ibrahim won bronze medal for the under 50 kg, Lotus Qatini won bronze medal under 61 kg and Khuloud Ali won bronze medal for over the 68kg.

The president of the game’s Federation jihad Mia explained in a statement to SANA that the Syrian karate sport, in its first foreign participation this year, proved to be on the right track, noting that the results that have been achieved by the Naseeb Sports Club in the Arab Women Sports Tournament placed it at the top of the overall ranking, waiting for the team fighting competitions that will be held tomorrow.
