“Made in Syria” Shopping Festival in Damascus has witnessed huge turnout of visitors

The monthly “Made in Syria” Shopping Festival, currently held in Damascus, has witnessed the participation of 70 national companies specilize in the textile and food industries. The event, which will continue until February 10, has witnessed huge turnout of visitors.

The festival contains attractive offers and big discounts by the participating companies on all products that families need.

Haidara, one of the participants representing “Vertika” company for producing hot and cold beverage powders which displays hot chocolate ,cappuccino, Nescafe  coffee,  sahlab, different kinds of juice, and ice coffee, told Syriatimes that the company is keen to participate in all editions of the festival. The festival gives us the opportunity to introduce new products, and promote them through offers and discounts, and to know what people like”.

The craftswoman Wafaa Al-Takriti, who has been working in making accessories for 17 years, said that she has participated in many exhibitions and festivals in Damascus and the Syrian governorates.

“I display handmade accessories which I  made by my self.  The aim of my participation in this festival is to market my products” Wafaa said.

Samer, another participant from the Syrian Chemical Industries Company, displays powder, paste and liquid detergents and named (Super White, Prince and Rich).

“We always participate in this event to support consumer through offering discounts, gifts and to market our products,” he added.
