Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Failure of the international community to stop the crimes of the occupation destroys credibility of UN institutions

Occupied Al-Quds,(ST)- The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the failure of the international community to stop the crimes of the Israeli occupation destroys what remains of the credibility of international institutions and the positions of countries that claim to be concerned with international law, human rights principles, and the protection of Palestinian civilians.

Wafa News Agency  reported that The Foreign Ministry said in a statement today :The international community’s comprehensive failure is not limited to the failure to stop the genocidal war in Gaza Strip, but also includes its inability to force the occupation authorities to open roads and lift barriers to the movement of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.”

The Foreign Ministry indicated that the occupation’s closure of main roads and the establishment of checkpoints are nothing but collective punishment and are an expression of a vindictive colonial mentality that harms the Palestinians and attempts to break their will to stand firm and remain in their homeland.
