Spanish Communist Party condemns the American aggression against Syria, Iraq and Yemen

Madrid- (ST)- The Spanish Communist Party condemned the aggressive US attacks on sites in Syria, Iraq and Yemen, which caused civilian casualties.

The party affirmed in a statement on its official website that “the illegal American presence in the Syrian territory, the theft of Syrian oil and natural resources, and the United States’ continued support for the Israeli genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza threaten to ignite a war in the entire Middle East, due to the United States’ intransigence through “Ignoring international law and attacking sovereign states.”

The party expressed its strong condemnation of the role played by the United States in the continued suffering of more than two million Palestinians, half of whom are children, and their exposure to the risk of death under Israeli bombing or due to diseases, hunger, thirst, and lack of medical care as a result of the war of genocide and displacement committed against them, and the continued assistance to “Israel” with weapons and the rejection of United Nations resolutions to implement the ceasefire resolution.

The party indicated that the Palestinian people must be allowed to achieve their freedom, their right to existence and self-determination, and to put an end to the Zionist entity’s policies of segregation, racial discrimination, and the displacement of the Palestinian people from their land, pointing out that “there will be no peace or coexistence in the Middle East region as long as Palestine is not free and as long as the United States continues to impose its military presence, which aims only to destabilize the region.”

The party called for continued demonstrations and protests in Spain and all countries of the world until a ceasefire in Gaza ii achieved, relations with the occupying entity are severed, support with weapons for the occupation is stopped, and tge demands to hold accountable the Zionist criminals before the Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice are adhered to.
