Czech Moravian Communist Party: United States, with its support for Israel expands the scope of the war in the region

Prague, (ST) – Deputy Chairman of the Czech Moravian Communist Party, Milan Krajica Tuesday affirmed that the United States, through its aggressive practices and support for the Israeli occupation, is contributing to expanding the conflict in the Middle East.

Krajica pointed out in a statement today that the situation in Gaza is developing dramatically as the occupation authorities continue to brutally kill tens of thousands of civilians.

“This matter left behind a massive humanitarian catastrophe due to which “Israel” is now accused before the International Court of Justice of committing genocide”, he added.

Krajica reiterated his party’s position that a just peace in the Middle East requires the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation from the occupied Palestinian and Arab territories in accordance with the relevant Security Council resolutions and international law. He stressed the need to release all Palestinian prisoners, recognize the right of return of the Palestinians to their land, and end the construction of settlements in the occupied territories.
