Kanaani: international community must put an end to the crimes of Zionist entity against the Palestinian people

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani has renewed his country’s call on the international community to stop the crimes of the Zionist occupation against the Palestinian people, stressing that stability in the region depends on stopping the aggression against Gaza.

“We have witnessed the latest shocking statistics published about the extent of the human losses inflicted on the resisting Palestinian people during 122 days of crimes committed by the Zionist entity against them,” Kanaani said in his weekly press conference on Monday

He added  “We hope that the international community will not be lenient with this matter from now on and seriously seek stopping the war crimes committed by the entity against that people because the basic and sustainable solution is to end this war and genocide.”

Kanaani also stressed that the military actions carried out by the United States and Britain in the region, including the military attacks by these two countries on Iraq, Syria and Yemen, and the continued aggression of Israel contradict the slogans, messages and claims of Western countries that they do not want the war and crisis to continue in the region and not to expand the war.

“However, attacking countries in the region is a violation of regional sovereignty”, he indicated.

The Iranian official pointed out that Iran seeks to create stability in the region and prevent the development of conflict in the region, and it does not have any agents in the region, while Washington is the one that uses the Zionist entity, as a terrorist entity, as its agent to implement its goals.

Kanaani said  that Washington has proved  that it hinders  the work of the UN Security Council, as peace in the region depends on stopping American crime there.
