Salami: No threat will be left unanswered

Tehran (ST) – Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), Hossein Salami, affirmed that Iran does not seek war or fear it, saying: “We will defend our values and principles before our enemies and let the Americans know that we will not leave any threat unanswered”.

“These days we hear some threats from American officials and we say to them, ‘You have tested us, and we will not leave any threat unanswered”, he added.

Salami stressed that all the conspiracies imposed on Iran were of a global scope and a combination of all the evil forces in the world that have failed. He noted that the enemies launched an economic, psychological and security war, but Iran is now strong and advanced.

Salami indicated that Palestine is on the path to victory, and that the Zionists cannot maintain a small territory in the war for months and they will inevitably lose.

In a related context, Iran’s representative to the UN denied reports of sending numerous messages from the US to Iran during the past two days, stressing that any attack on Iran’s lands, interests, or citizens outside the borders will face a decisive and strong response.
