US Air Force Plane carrying Lethal Weapons to Terrorists in Syria Arrives in Jordan

AMMAN- A US Air Force plane, carrying lethal weapons to the armed terrorist groups in Syria arrived at the Jordanian “al-Mafraq” Airport, according to Jordanian news reports.

Al-Wahda News Network quoted Jordanian sources as saying that “a US plane, loaded with lethal weapons, landed in al-Mafraq airport to deliver arms to the armed gangs in Syria.  The sources added that some 1500 gunmen, resident in al-Zaatrai Camp for the displaced Syrians in Jordan, have received training on using weapons and are now ready to join other 50,000 gunmen currently fighting in Syria.

American and European Security officials have unveiled that the US Congress has secretly approved financing arms shipments to armed terrorist groups in Syria across Jordan.

The London-based al-Quds al-Arabi newspaper quoted CIA sources as saying that the US Intelligence Agency will expand the training program of the armed terrorist groups which the agency calls “opposition”.

Observers expressed astonishment over the leaks which come as Jordanian official security authorities announce almost every day that they have seized terrorists trying to infiltrate into Syria and confiscated their weapons.

Human Shields

On the other hand, Chief Editor of the al-Wahda News Network Amer al-Tal urged the Jordanian government to announce a clear stance rejecting Washington decision to supply terrorist groups in Syria with US weapons through Jordan.

He called on freedom-loving Jordanians to form human shields along the Jordanian-Syrian borders to prevent the access of these weapons to Syria.

Al-Tal stressed that “all the Jordanian official statements on Jordan’s “neutrality” towards what is going on in Syria are of no value unless a clear stance rejecting the US behavior is adopted.

“The US statements pose an insult to all the Jordanians,” Al-Tal said wondering how an American official allows himself to decide on behalf of Jordan.
