The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemns the occupation meeting to restore settlement in Gaza Strip and north of West Bank

The Palestinian ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned in the strongest terms the meeting held by the Israeli occupation authorities to reestablish the settlements in Gaza Strip and the north of the West Bank. It stressed that this meeting is a blatant challenge of the decisions of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and a public incitement to displace the Palestinian people.

The Foreign ministry explained in a statement reported by Wafa agency that the meeting, held in the occupied city of Al Quds yesterday in the presence of 11 ministers in the occupation government ,15 members of the Knesset, and hundreds of settlers, reveals once again the true face of the occupation. It reveals its commitment to completing the genocide war in the Strip and its brutal attacks on the West Bank to forcibly displace the Palestinians and destroy the foundations of their survival in their homeland.

The ministry called on the international community and the American administration to exercise real pressure and impose sanctions on the occupation to stop its crimes and violations.

The Palestinian resistance, in turn, said: The occupation authorities holding a meeting calling for the annexation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip to the occupying entity and settlement therein, with the participation of dozens of ministers and members of the Knesset, reveals the premeditated intentions to implement the crime of displacement and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people. In addition, organizing this meeting reflects this rogue entity’s disregard for international laws and resolutions and the recent decisions of the International Court of Justice, which demanded that “Israel” should take all measures to stop the genocide in Gaza.

The resistance called on the international community and the United Nations to take a firm stance on the holding of this fascist meeting, and to clearly condemn it as being based on ethnic cleansing. It also called for confronting the arrogance of the occupation and the crime of genocide it has been committing in Gaza, and for taking necessary measures to protect the Palestinian people in implementation of the decisions of the International Court of Justice.
