Palestinian Health Ministry: Nasser Medical Complex has run out of anesthesia and intensive care medications

The Palestinian Ministry of Health on Saturday announced that Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis city has run out of many kinds of anesthesia and intensive care medications in the light of the continuous Israeli occupation’s siege imposed on the city, warning of the dangerous shortage of blood units there.

In a statement on Saturday, the Ministry said the water tanks in the complex were damaged and malfunctioned as a result of shrapnel and fire from the occupation’s drones, which led to water leakage into the buildings and the intensive care department and led to water shortage in the dialysis center.

The Ministry warned that the electrical generators in the complex would stop within four days due to the lack of fuel, noting that the people were forced to bury 150 martyrs and dead people in the complex’s courtyard as a result of the occupation’s siege of it, while there are still 30 unidentified martyrs in the mortuary.

The occupation has been for days imposing a complete siege on the complex, which is located in the south of Gaza Strip, targeting everything in its vicinity and within its courtyards.
