First round of US-Iraqi talks on ending the International Coalition’s mission in Iraq launched

The first round of bilateral dialogue between Iraq and the United States, to end the mission of the international coalition in Iraq was launched on Saturday in the Iraqi Capital Baghdad.

“Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani sponsored the launch of the first round of bilateral dialogue between Iraq and the United States to end the mission of the international coalition in Iraq,” the Prime Minister Media Office said in a statement reported by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

Earlier, Al-Sudani said that the departure of the US-led International Coalition forces from Iraq has become a popular and official request.

A few days ago, the Iraqi Parliament called for speeding up the implementation of the decision on the departure of the coalition’s forces from Iraq.
