Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Israel’s continuation of the war of extermination in Gaza reflects the moral and legal corruption of the international community

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the continuation of the ongoing genocidal war by the Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip for the 112th day reflects the legal and moral downfall of countries that claim to uphold and take care of the principles of human rights in the world.

In a statement today quoted by the Palestinian agency WAFA, the Foreign Ministry stated that the steadfastness of the people of the Gaza Strip and their survival in their land despite daily forms of extermination exposes international complicity in its most heinous forms, for failing to achieve a rapid and relief response to Palestinians under the killing and barbaric bombing of internationally prohibited weapons.

The ministry pointed out that the genocide committed by the occupation in the Gaza Strip leaves about 200 martyrs and hundreds of injured and wounded every day, deepens the cycle of forced displacement and death against the residents of the Strip, expands the circle of destruction and siege of health centers and hospitals, and imposes a policy of starvation and thirst in light of the occupation’s persistence to prevent the arrival of aid and basic humanitarian needs.
