Syria affirms solidarity with China over victims of landslide and earthquake

Syria expressed its deepest condolence to the People’s Republic of China over the victims of the landslide and earthquake, affirming its solidarity with families of the victims.

“Syria expresses its deepest condolence and sincere feelings of sympathy to the Republic and people of China over the victims of the landslide that took place in Yunnan Province and the earthquake that hit Xinjiang Province, eastern China, on January 22nd and 23rd, Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency.

The statement added that the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic expresses its deepest condolences and sincere feelings to the government and people of the friendly People’s Republic of China for the victims, hoping the wounded speedy recovery.
