Cuba condemns the Israeli aggression against Damascus

HAVANA, (ST) – Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Barrilla strongly condemned the Israeli attack that targeted the Mezzeh residential neighborhood in Damascus yesterday.

Rodriguez Barilla said in a blog on platform X: We strongly condemn the Israeli attack that targeted the residential neighborhood in the capital, Damascus, where many residences and diplomatic missions are located, including the  Cuban diplomatic mission.

He stressed that this dangerous act constitutes a violation of Syria’s sovereignty and endangers the security of the diplomatic offices accredited there.

Yesterday, the Israeli occupation entity carried out a barbaric aggression targeting a residential building in the Mezzeh neighborhood, resulting in the death and injury of a number of civilians, the complete destruction of the building, and damage to neighboring buildings.
