Arab parties condemn the Zionist aggression against Damascus

Capitals, (ST) – The General Secretariat of the General Conference of Arab Parties condemned the Zionist attack that targeted a residential building in Damascus and led to a number of martyrs, including Iranian advisors.

The General Secretariat on Sunday said in a statement: This new crime is added to the crimes of the Zionist entity against citizens in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Iran.

“The Zionist enemy seeks to export its crises and defeat, which Damascus, Tehran,Yemen ,Palestine ,Iraq and Lebanon had a major role in causing it”, the General Secretariat added.

The General Secretariat stressed that these attacks require condemnation and accountability, and they will not deter Syria and Iran from their close alliance and from their role and positions in support of the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance.

In turn, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement condemned in the strongest terms the treacherous Zionist aggression and said in a statement: This aggression comes within the framework of the attempts of the usurping entity’s government to export its military failure in the field by expanding the scope of aggression in the region.

The movement added that these assassinations will not undermine Syria’s position in support of the Palestinian cause and will not discourage Iran from continuing its battle against the Zionist enemy.

For its part, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command condemned the brutal aggression. It said: The Zionist enemy, which was broken and defeated in the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood Operation is trying to restore its collapsed image and compensate for its disappointment and the loss of the prestige of deterrence in its army.

The Front saw that the Zionist aggression expresses the state of hysteria and confusion experienced by the leaders of the Zionist entity, a state that expresses the depth of its defeat and its crisis, which is worsening daily at the hands of the heroes of our people, its resistance factions, and all parties of the axis of resistance.

The Palestinian Popular Struggle Front denounced the brutal aggression against Damascus and considered that it comes in the context of the Zionist enemy’s attempts to hide its defeat, failure and impotence in the war taking place in Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and with the parties, countries and forces of the axis of resistance.

The Front indicated that the Palestinian Arab people, its factions and its forces affirm their firm and supportive position for the steadfastness of Syria, its people, army and leadership, and that this battle being waged in the face of Zionist arrogance is the battle of the entire nation.

The Front also stressed that these attacks will not undermine the will of the Syrian people, who faced, stood firm and resisted the global war launched against them during 12 years.

 “This national bond between Palestine and Syria, which was baptized in blood during the course of the joint national struggle, represents the basic pillar and solid base for defeating the Zionist enemy and its supporters”, the Front added.

In turn, Hamas strongly condemned the Zionist aggression and said it was a heinous crime and a violation of the sovereignty of an Arab country, which reaffirms the danger of this Nazi entity to the security and stability of the region.

The movement added: The occupation’s behavior and terrorism will not deter our nation and the resistance forces from continuing to support the steadfastness of our Palestinian people until the occupation is defeated and a fully sovereign Palestinian state is established with Al-Quds as its capital.

The Syrian Social Nationalist Party condemned the Zionist aggression against Damascus and said in a statement: The Zionist enemy has continued these aggressive violations of Syria’s sovereignty since the beginning of the terrorist war against it, as part of its support for terrorist groups.

The Islamic Tawheed Movement in Lebanon also condemned the sinful Zionist aggression against Damascus, noting that it falls within the policy of treachery and backbiting to which the cowardly Israeli killing machine has become accustomed.

For its part, the Islamic Action Front in Lebanon denounced the Zionist terrorist attack on Damascus and said: This barbaric aggression is a blatant attack targeting an Arab country and affecting its sovereignty in a way that violates international law.

In turn, the Association of Muslim Scholars in Lebanon considered that the Zionist entity, with its aggression against a residential building in the Mezzeh neighborhood in Damascus is trying to regain some of the prestige it lost as a result of the terrible defeat in its aggression against Gaza.

The Head of the National Center in North Lebanon, Kamal Al-Khair condemned the Zionist aggression and said: This targeting will not weaken the resolve of the Syrian state and its allies in the axis of resistance to confront the Zionist project that supports terrorist forces in the region.

“This targeting will increase the Syrian state and its allies’ determination to pursue the path through which the great victory will be achieved against the enemy and the terrorist project supported by the Zionists and their agents”, Al-Khair added.
