Iraqi resistance shoots down American drone in Diyala province

The Iraqi resistance on Friday announced that it had shot down an American MQ-9 drone in Diyala Governorate, east of Iraq.

This came within the framework of the Iraqi resistance against the American occupation in Iraq and the region and in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza and in defense of the sovereignty of Iraq and its airspace against the violations being committed by the occupation warplane, the resistance said in a statement yesterday.

The resistance stressed that it will continue confronting the occupation and targeting its strongholds until it leaves Iraq and the entire region.
