Israel’s ethnic cleansing will stregthen the Palestinians’ adherence to their cause, says Russian expert

Moscow, (ST) – The Dean of the Faculty of Global Politics at Moscow State University, Andrei Sidorov confirmed that the ethnic cleansing practiced by “Israel” against the people of Gaza will not achieve its dream of ending the Palestinian issue and removing it from international files and forums.

Sidorov said in an interview with SANA correspondent: The Israeli war on Gaza Strip will only strengthen the Palestinian people to gain their independence and establish their independent national state.

He pointed out that the Israeli entity, with its barbaric attack, has completely flouted all international conventions and agreements, which made the peoples of the world rise up and organize marches demanding an end to the massacres committed against the Palestinians.

In a related context, Sidorov pointed to the plundering of the wealth of the Syrian people by the American occupation in Syria.

The Russian expert considered that the Americans’ hegemonic instinct intensified after the dissolution of the Soviet Union, so they began to practice a policy of pressure and provocation by using force against countries that rejected their colonial approach and imposing sanctions against the peoples of these countries.
