West is concerned with its own interests and does not care about the killing of civilians elsewhere, says Zakharova

Moscow, (ST) – Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova confirmed that the Western coalition is only concerned with its own interests in the region to divert attention from its failure elsewhere and does not care about the killing of civilians in any other countries.

Zakharova said in a statement to Sputnik: The West is accustomed to bombing any targets, military, civilian or population, and they do not care about who stands on which side of history, whether there are  civilians, women, children or elderly, as they are only concerned about their interests.

A few days ago, the United States and Britain launched an aggression against Yemen that caused many casualties under the pretext of allowing freedom of passage through Bab al-Mandab.

Commenting on the United States’ seizure of Russian assets, Zakharova said: They are confiscating other people’s money while the American national debt is suffering from an increase at excessive rates.

She pointed out that everyone is fully aware that the United States will never return these debts.

In another context, and regarding Poland’s desire to deploy German forces on its territories in addition to the presence of NATO forces, Zakharova said: This step confirms the growing desire of NATO to raise the level of tension in Europe and prolong the state of global collapse of European security. She stressed that this matter will not remain without an appropriate response.
