Palestinian Presidency: International silence on the war of genocide waged by the occupation is unacceptable
Occupied Al- Quds, (ST) – The Palestinian Presidency confirmed that the daily killings committed by the Israeli occupation in Gaza Strip and the West Bank constitute a comprehensive war of genocide against the Palestinian people. It stressed that international silence is unacceptable.
Wafa News Agency quoted Palestinian presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeina as saying in a statement today: “The occupation is trying in various ways to drag the entire region into violence and destruction by continuing its policies of extermination, killing, destruction, stealing Palestinian land, and expanding settlements, in light of international silence that is completely unacceptable, because these conditions are threatening to blow up the area.”
Abu Rudeina added: “These aggressive policies that deprive Palestinian blood will not succeed in subjugating us, and the only solution is for the Palestinian people to obtain their full legitimate rights in their land and homeland in accordance with the resolutions of international legitimacy.”
Abu Rudeina held the American administration responsible for the escalation of the aggression due to its blind support and clear bias towards the occupation. He called on it to intervene immediately to stop its massacres.
In turn, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the failure of the international community to end the Israeli occupation and hold it accountable for its grave violations in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank provides it with impunity and encourages it to continue its crimes against the Palestinian people.
The Ministry said that the occupation authorities are working to prolong the genocidal war, and any regional and international efforts to stop it with the aim of liquidating the Palestinian presence, implementing their expansionist colonial plans, and undermining any opportunity to materialize the Palestinian state on the ground will fail.
