Raisi: The importance of India’s role in ending the Israeli aggression and lifting the siege on Gaza

The Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi confirmed that the crimes of the Zionist entity in the Gaza strip are a clear example of war crimes and crimes against humanity, and that stopping them, punishing the Zionist entity, and restoring the rights of the Palestinian people is the only way to return to regional stability and security.

During his meeting today with Indian Foreign Minister Subramaniam Jaishankar, Raisi stressed the importance of India’s role in ending this aggression and lifting the siege on the Gaza Strip.  He pointed out, at the same time, the importance of focusing on combating terrorism and systematic crimes and cooperation aimed at enhancing stability and security within Afghanistan, strengthening trade exchange between Iran and India using the two countries’ currencies, and protecting navigational security in international waters.

For his part, the Indian Foreign Minister praised the role played by Iran in expanding its relations with the countries of the region and achieving a remarkable shift in the level of Indian-Iranian relations.
