British journalist: Journalists in the Gaza Strip are epitome of rare courage .. their voice is what matters the most

British journalist Peter Oborne, described journalists in the Gaza Strip as “heroes of the profession”, possessing unparalleled courage, where only their voices should be listened to. They risk their lives and the lives of their families to convey the truth to the world, not only that but they also risk their lives  every minute to achieve this goal in the face of a Western media, biased towards Israel.

Oborne said in the context of an article ,published by the British website “Middle East Eye”: “The utmost importance should be given only to the voice of journalists, reporting in the field inside Gaza.No space or attention  should be given  to studio journalists.”

Oborne pointed out the great differences and bias shown by Western journalists, in their dealings with Israeli occupation officials and Palestinian officials, where we find them adopting an inappropriate method and style, making accusations and shocking statements when talking to Palestinian voices and personalities.

Oburne emphasized that since the beginning of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza, Western media discourse has remained biased toward “Israel,” and time after time Western media professionals deal with false or undocumented narratives, issued by Israeli sources with the aim of spreading inflammatory rhetoric that goes straight into the interest of the occupation forces.

Oburne mocked those who call themselves journalists, while they sit in a warm and nice studio, receive generous salaries of hundreds of thousands of dollars, and do not even risk anything , or present the truth to the public. He indicated that these are the ones who must be neglected – all attention should be given to those brave journalists inside  Gaza.
