Syria condemns the two terrorist attacks that targeted innocent civilians in the Iranian city of Kerman
the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that the Syrian Arab Republic condemns in the strongest terms the two treacherous terrorist attacks which targeted the innocent civilians near the tomb of martyr Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani in the city of Kerman south of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which led to the martyrdom and the injury of hundreds of innocent citizens.
The Foreign Affairs Ministry said in a statement reported by SANA that the Syrian Arab Republic expressed its deep sorrow, deep condolence and sympathies to the leadership, government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran and to the bereaved families, and its wishes of a speedy recovery for the injured. The Ministry stressed the inevitability of the failure of terrorists and their supporters in achieving their abhorrent goals and the necessity of holding them accountable wherever they are found.
The Foreign Ministry added: The Syrian Arab Republic affirms its full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran in the face of the terrorist attacks and shameful conspiracies against which it is exposed, and it has confidence in its ability to overcome this painful ordeal. It also affirms that this sinful terrorist attack will not undermine its resolve and determination to fight terrorism, stand by the right causes, and support the just rights of vulnerable peoples.
The Foreign Ministry explained that the Syrian Arab Republic considers that the escalation in the resort of known hostile parties to terrorist attacks and acts in the region is clear evidence of the defeat and failure of their destructive projects. The Ministry warns that these terrorist acts will negatively affect the security and stability of the countries of the region, and represent a serious threat to regional and international peace and security.
