Syrian authorities thwart drug smuggling operation at the Syrian-Jordanian borders

Daraa (ST) – The concerned authorities thwarted an attempt to smuggle 200,000 Captagon pills and 210 pieces of hashish across the Syrian-Jordanian border.

 

A security source stated that after intensive monitoring, a unit of the concerned authorities thwarted the smuggling of the Captagon (Lexus type), in addition to the narcotic hashish, at the Syrian-Jordanian borders, and detained three smugglers.

The source affirmed that the authorities continue their work to monitor smuggling operations and control borders with the aim of eliminating this phenomenon and punish anyone who tries to threaten the security of Syria and the neighbouring countries.
