73 Palestinian female prisoners are suffering from very difficult conditions in Al-Damoun Israeli detention center

The Palestinians Prisoners and Ex-prisoners Commission has stressed that the Palestinian female prisoners held by the Israeli occupation in Al-Damoun detention center are facing extremely difficult circumstances as the occupation has escalated its repressive and arbitrary practices and violations against them since the beginning of its aggression on Gaza Strip on October 7th.

WAFA news agency said in a statement on Wednesday that there are 73 female captives in Al-Damoun detention center, 43 of them are from Gaza Strip, 19 from Al-Quds and other West Bank areas and 11 from the lands occupied in 1948. These women are suffering from difficult conditions as the occupation tightens the noose on them, deprives them from food and other basic life requirements.

In a related context, the commission said that the occupation authorities continues to hold 86 male Palestinian prisoners in “Majdou” detention center within very critical conditions, pointing out that six of these prisoners are teenagers from Gaza Strip who were put in one room and are subjected to physical and psychological torture.
