Palestinian Resistance: The Israeli occupation returns the bodies of 80 Palestinian martyrs from the Gaza Strip after stealing their organs

Today, the Palestinian resistance received from the Zionist enemy, through “Karam Abu Salem” crossing to the south of Gaza Strip, the bodies of 80 Palestinian martyrs whom the occupation had killed and held during its ground incursion into the Strip.

The resistance said in a statement: The occupation’s handing over of the bodies of the Palestinian martyrs while they are in a state of decomposition and difficult to identify, puts question marks over what this brutal and immoral enemy has done to these bodies, as many cases revealed that it stole organs from the bodies of the martyrs.

The Resistance considered what the enemy did as a heinous war crime and a flagrant violation of the sanctity and dignity of the dead.

For its part, the media office in Gaza strongly condemned the Israeli occupation’s violation of the dignity of bodies of 80 martyrs that it had previously held during its ground incursion and the massacres of genocide it continues to commit in the Strip. The media office clarified that the occupation delivered the bodies mutilated.

The office explained that the occupation handed over the unidentified bodies and refused to specify the names of the martyrs. It also refused to specify the places from which they were stolen. After examining them, it became clear that the features of the martyrs had changed greatly, in a clear indication that the occupation had stolen vital organs from their bodies.

The office added that the occupation repeated this crime more than once during the genocidal war, and had previously exhumed graves in Jabalia and stolen some of the bodies of martyrs from them. In addition to that, the occupation is still holding dozens of dead bodies of Palestinians from Gaza Strip.

The office considered that this crime is added to the many crimes committed by the occupation after the United States of America gave it the green light to carry out killings against civilians, children, and women. It called for the formation of an independent international investigation committee into the occupation’s kidnapping of the bodies of the martyrs and theft of their vital organs.

The office expressed its astonishment at the silence of the international organizations working Gaza Strip, such as the Red Cross, towards such horrific crimes committed by the occupation, calling on them to perform their assigned role more effectively, put pressure on the occupation and reveal its crimes to the world.
