Hundreds of Palestinians in all West Bank cities call for ending occupation’s aggression on Gaza

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, Dec.26, (ST)-Hundreds of Palestinians, during solidarity stands held today in all West Bank cities, called on the international community to intervene urgently and put pressure on the occupation to support the prisoners and release them, and to demand an end to the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, which entered its 81st day,

Wafa News Agency reported that the participants in the stands, which were organized by the Palestinian National Forces and prisoners’ institutions in the cities of Ramallah, Qalqilya, Bethlehem, Salfit, Tubas, Nablus, and Jenin, raised Palestinian flags, pictures of martyrs, and banners denouncing the escalation of the occupation’s crimes against prisoners in its jails, and the barbarity of the aggression against the afflicted sector in violation of all laws, international and humanitarian norms.

Member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization in Ramallah, Wasel Abu Youssef, affirmed that the genocidal war and the weapons of starvation waged by the occupation against the people of the Gaza Strip require the competent international courts to intervene urgently to stop the massacres and attacks and hold the terrorist killers accountable for their crimes.

For his part, the Director General of the Prisoner Club in Bethlehem, Abdullah Al-Zaghari, stated that the occupation has escalated its crimes against West Bank prisoners since the seventh of last October, by intensifying the storming of cells and the abuse of prisoners using police dogs, poison gas bombs and batons, denial of treatment, solitary confinement, and the policy of… Intentional medical negligence, while horrific and atrocious crimes are being carried out against prisoners and detainees in Gaza amid the catastrophic humanitarian conditions in the Strip.

The coordinator of the National Action Factions in Jenin, Ragheb Abu Diak, stressed that these brutal acts carried out by the occupation against children, women, and the elderly in the Gaza Strip, and its targeting of infrastructure and hospitals amid the continuation of the siege, are in addition to its crimes that deplore humanity against the entire Palestinian people, in light of the continuity of international silence towards them.
