Russia, Germany FMs discuss Syria in telephone talk -FM

MOSCOW- Foreign Ministers of Russia and Germany Sergey Lavrov and Frank-Walter Steinmeier discussed the crisis in Syria in a telephone conversation, the Russia’s Foreign Ministry said on Friday,according to ITAR TASS.

 “The ministers discussed several topical issues of international agenda, including current situation in Ukraine and problems of Syrian settlement in view of talks, which the parties to the conflict are having within the international peace conference Geneva II,” the Russian foreign diplomatic agency said.

“We agreed to continue talks on the sidelines of the Munich conference on security policy [from January 31 to February 1],” the Russian Foreign Ministry added.
