Christmas Bazaar in Damascus
A Christmas Bazaar is currently being held at the Golden Hotel in Damascus.This bazaar is organized by Bregma Exhibitions Company and it began on Monday, lasting for three days
The bazaar includes a wide variety of Christmas products including embroideries, clothes, food, sweets, soaps, perfumes, paintings ,candles for this occasion as well as crochet woolen products, clothes shoes and other handmade products according to Mrs. Nancy Ajlani,the organizer of Bazaar.
She told Syria times( E-news paper) that about one hundred women and men have participated in this bazaar on the occasion of Christmas because the bazaar is a good opportunity for everyone to market their products .
“University students who are starting new small projects have also participated in this bazaar, displaying their products and marketing them “Nancy added.
Participant Jeny Sweid displays women’s bags and accessories and other handmade products.
“I am participating in this bazaar for the second time because it is an opportunity to communicate with people directly and to be familiar with other products” she said.
Rami Yassin , another participant displays men’s and women’s handmade accessories such as bracelets, collars using natural stones, as well as small paintings.
He has participated in this event several times to market his products .
Another participant, Masa Younes, displays handmade women’s handbags made of stones, velvet, and crystal. She started her project six months ago.
Masa displays her products in the bazaar to market them and this is her second participation in this bazaar.
In their turn, Aya and Jodi are participating in the bazaar for the second time and displaying handmade hats and scarves made of wool and other threads.
“Our project started three months ago, and the bazaar is a good opportunity to showcase and market our products.” they said
Hegaze displays decorations for the house made of gypsum such as plates, vases, candles
He participated for the first time in this bazaar to show his products directly to people.
