The project aims at enabling women to play a key role in supporting their families through setting upsmall projects to improve their living conditions, particularlyunder the ongoing crisis in our homeland.

The center also works on ensuring all raw materialsfor the women who participate in the training courses. It also plays a key role in marketing their products through organizing special exhibitions in the province’s various cities.

“The free training courses aim at offering an all-out aid for the displaced women, through providing  all the required materials for them”, director of the project Qftaniah al- Sahnawi said in a recent interviewwith “Syriatimes” reporter in Sweida, reiterating the center’s role in marketing the products.
”Currently, the center is carrying out a special training course for 10 displaced women on how to make mosaic panels”, the director said.

Nesrin al- Sahnawi, one of the officials at the center, said: “our aim is not commercial, it is completely humanitarian.” She referred to the existence of a special section for the disabled in the center.

”The center exerts concerted efforts regarding the rehabilitation of people with disabilities, through helping them restore their abilities and skills,” she added.

For her part, Razan Kousa, one of the displaced women, taking part in the center’s currently held training course, said ”the center plays a vital role in putting an end to our suffering through giving us international certificates”.

”The certificates, which are approved by the Ministry of Industry, provide us with an opportunity for setting up our own projects,” Mrs. Kousa added.

It is to be noted that 600 women from all Syrian provinces have been graduated from the center since the beginning of crisis in Syria.
