UNRWA: Hunger haunts everyone in Gaza

Geneva (ST) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) warned of the worsening hunger in the besieged Gaza Strip as a result of the continous Israeli aggression on it for the 67th day.

The Agency stated on its X platform that hunger haunts everyone in Gaza, stressing that 1.9 million people (more than 85% of the population) across Gaza Strip have been displaced from their homes more than once.

The displaced people face harsh health, living and humanitarian conditions amid the depletion of food, water, medicines and medical supplies and the Israeli occupation preventing humanitarian aid from reaching them.
