The Syrian wrestling team added on Saturday 5 new medals to its achievements at the conclusion of the Arab Championship held in Iraq including 3 silver and 2 bronze as part of the Roman wrestling competitions.
The silver medals were won by Asad Al-Din Al-Asta, weighing 60 kg, Muhammad Obaid, weighing 72 kg, and Ali Nashewati, weighing 130 kg, while the bronze medals were won by Muhammad Fawaz, weighing 63 kg, and Fidaa Al-Din Al-Asta, weighing 87 kg.
Our team’s tally reached 12 medals at the end of the tournament as on Saturday the team won seven medals including one gold and six bronze in freestyle wrestling.
The gold medal won by the player Omar Sarmeh, weighing 125 kg, while the bronze medals by the players Anas Al-Khalidi, weighing 79 kg, and Fidaa Al-Din Al-Osta, weighing 86 kg. Anwar Sharafa.
