Shaaban: Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip is part of a scheme that targets the Plaestinian existance

The Presidential Advisor Bouthaina Shaaban has stressed that all Arab countries are targeted by the Zionist aggresdion on the Palestinian people and that this aggression is part of a scheme that has aimed at ending the Palestinian existance and undermining the rights of the Palestinian people.

During a meeting on Thursday with a delegation representing the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, led by the front’s Deputy Secretary General Jamil Mizher, Shaaban said that the Israeli occupation is carrying out an aggression against everything that is Palestinian in an existential war that has not stopped for a moment, but has always been escalated.

Shaaban reaffirmed Syria’s permanent support for the Palestinian people to restore their rights, pointing out that the brutal methods used by the Israeli occupation forces to kill the Palestinians are one of the faces of the terrorist war that Syria was subjected to, a war that has been foiled due to the steadfastness and sacrifices of the Syrian people.

Shaaban hailed the heroic sacrifices made by the Palestinian people over the past decades, stressing the need for a unified position to work to restore the land and to spread awareness throughout the world of the brutal crimes, war of genocide and ethnic cleansing committed by the Zionists against the Palestinian people.

The developments of the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, which was launched by the Palestinian resistance on October 7, were highlighted during the meeting. The importance of the support that Syria provides to the Palestinian people to end the Israeli occupation and restore their rights, was also emphasized.

For his part, Mezher explained the situation in the Palestinian territories and the criminal practices of the Israeli occupation entity against the Palestinian people, stressing that Syria has always been a supporter of the Palestinian cause and just Arab causes, and the heroic deeds of the Palestinian resistance the world is witnessing now are the result of this support.

Mezher pointed out that the Israeli occupation is waging a war of extermination against the Palestinian people to liquidate their cause, by destroying all necessities of life and turning the besieged Gaza Strip into a land that is not suitable for life.
