Minister of Social Affairs, Chinese Ambassador in Damascus discuss means of exchanging experiences in social projects
Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Louay Al-Munajjid and the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Damascus, Shi Honghui, on Tuesday discussed the prospects of developing joint cooperation relations in the fields of training and exchange of experiences in projects and programs related to the ministry’s work.
Minister Al-Munajjid stressed the importance of the successful Chinese experience in managing many files related to social fields, expressing the Ministry’s desire to benefit from this with regard to training and management of the social system as well as China’s successful experiences in the issue of the countryside and the city.
The minister pointed out that the ministry also seeks to establish a social knowledge base that qualifies for a true Chinese-Syrian social and economic partnership. .
Minister Al-Munajjid referred to the deep-rooted distinguished and historical relations between Syria and the Chinese government and people, noting China’s stands in support of Syria over the past years and the assistance it provided to the Syrian people, whether during the period of war or the earthquake disaster that struck the country last February.
For his part, the Chinese ambassador in Damascus expressed his appreciation for the Syrian stances that always support Chinese issues, stressing the Chinese government’s keenness to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries in any field and in a way that contributes to improving economic relations between the two friendly countries.
