Syrian-Venezuelan discussions about  prospects for cooperation in the field of oil

The Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources, Dr. Firas Qaddour, discussed with the Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Damascus, Jose Gregorio Biomorgi Mousates, the prospects for joint cooperation and its enhancement in the field of oil, gas and mineral wealth.

During the meeting held today in the Ministry of Oil building in Damascus, Minister Qaddour noted the distinguished bilateral relations that bind the two countries, and the importance of developing and revitalizing them, in a way that serves the interests of the two friendly countries.

For his part, the Venezuelan ambassador expressed his country’s desire, to push bilateral relations between the two countries, to the level of the aspirations of the two friendly leaders and peoples.

The two sides stressed the need to activate the signed agreements, moving into the implementation stages, in a way that benefits the peoples of the two countries, and contributes to improving joint economic relations, especially in the various fields of oil.
