Tunisian President affirms his country’s support for the Palestinian people

TUNISIA, Dec.4, (ST)- Today, Tunisian President Kais Saied affirmed that his country stands with the Palestinian people until they regain all their rights, indicating that the Palestinian right is imprescriptible.

His remarks were made during his visit to the wounded Palestinians who were transported on a Tunisian military plane from the Egyptian Arish Airport to Tunisian hospitals.

Saeed stressed that his country will not be satisfied with demonstrations and slogans in support of the Palestinian people, but will do everything in its power to ensure that this people obtain their rights.”

He, in addition, praised the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their medical personnel despite the catastrophic health situation, announcing that a second batch of wounded Palestinians would arrive in Tunisia within two days.

Since October 7, the Gaza Strip has been suffering from catastrophic conditions as a result of the ongoing Zionist aggression, which killed more than 15,800 Palestinians and wounded 42,000 others.
