30 New Palestinian Prisoners Embrace Freedom

Thirty new Palestinian prisoners obtained their freedom in exchange for the resistance’s release of 10 of Israeli detainees as part of the temporary truce agreement.

This brings the number of Palestinian prisoners freed from the occupation prisons during the temporary truce agreement to 240 female prisoners and children, including 71 prisoners and 169 children, in exchange for the resistance releasing 90 of Israeli detainees.

On the Twenty-Fourth of this month, the temporary truce agreement in the Gaza Strip entered into force for four days, interspersed with the release of a number of Palestinian children and female prisoners held by the occupation, in exchange for a number of Israeli detainees held by the Palestinian resistance, and the introduction of relief and medical assistance and  fuel to the Gaza Strip, 48 days after the Israeli aggression, which resulted in the martyrdom of more than 15 thousand Palestinians and injured more than 36 thousand, in addition to massive destruction of homes and infrastructure.

On the evening of the fourth day of the truce, the Palestinian resistance announced that an agreement had been reached to extend it for two more days under the same conditions as the previous truce, and this morning it announced that an agreement had been reached to extend it for an additional day.
