Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Maliki affirmed that what Gaza Strip is witnessing is not a war, but rather an Israeli massacre that no one or thing can justify, wondering how many times the world can tolerate failure to test humanity in Gaza and Palestine?
Al-Maliki explained during a Security Council session that the Israeli occupation and settlers are launching a barbaric aggression targeting the existence of the Palestinian people and aiming at liquidating their cause, stressing that the occupation is trying to accomplish what it began in the Nakba 75 years ago by killing and displacing Palestinians, which necessitate an immediate action to provide international protection and to end the occupation’s impunity for its crimes.
In turn, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi called on the Security Council and the international community to shoulder their responsibilities and take real and immediate steps for a ceasefire, stressing his country’s opposition to forced displacement and the Israeli crimes committed against the people in Gaza Strip.
