A 3.4 magnitude earthquake strikes southeastern Iran

Tehran (ST) – An earthquake measuring  3.4   on the Richter scale struck Sistan and Baluchestan Province, southeastern Iran, with no reports of human or material losses.

The Seismology Center at the University of Tehran stated, “The earthquake struck the town of Nimroz, and was at a depth of 7 kilometers.”

Recently, an earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale struck south of Ilam Province, western Iran.
