Josep Borrell calls for extending the truce in the Gaza Strip

High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell called for extending the temporary truce in Gaza Strip.

Borrell said during the opening of a meeting of the “Union for the Mediterranean” forum in Barcelona: “The truce is an important step and it must be extended and transformed into a permanent truce to allow a way to find a political solution.”

While on the 22nd of this month, the Palestinian resistance announced that it had reached a temporary truce agreement in Gaza Strip for a period of four days, which began last Friday and ends today.
