Tim Anderson: Syria is one of the most important resistance countries

Damascus, (ST) – The Australian researcher Tim Anderson stressed that the Palestinian issue is the issue of all honorable and free people of the world. He pointed to the importance of Syria’s role in supporting the resistance and confronting the Zionist entity and terrorism.

During the cultural meeting held by the Arab Writers Union on Sunday, Anderson noted the great value of the Syrian Arab Army and the sacrifices of the martyrs in Syria who were the reason for Syria’s survival and steadfastness. He revealed the importance of the role of the resistance and its press to show the truth of what is currently happening.

In his book, “West Asia after Washington” Anderson pointed to the importance of the book’s role in revealing the facts that show the confrontation of occupation and terrorism, and the role of the countries supporting it.

In his book, Anderson highlighted many events in the region that reached West Asia, current events in Palestine and the resistance axis’ confrontation of Zionist schemes, in addition to America’s role in supporting these events and the occupation of Palestine.

The Australian researcher, in his book, explained that the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation was the one that forced negotiations on the Zionist entity. This operation revealed the truth about the Israeli enemy and America’s role in supporting it and displacing the Palestinian people. He noted the necessity of strengthening the role of the media in revealing what is happening in the Palestinian arena.

According to Anderson, the racist Zionist state must be dismantled in accordance with what was stated in United Nations resolutions, so that the Palestinian people can return to their state of Palestine with Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital.
