Resistance is the only option to liberate the occupied territories, says Qassem

Beirut, (ST) – Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem, affirmed that resistance is the only option to liberate the occupied territories. He said that the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation proved that the resistance cannot be defeated.

Qassem said in his speech: Resistance is our choice to liberate Al-Aqsa, Al-Quds (Jerusalem), Lebanon, and this entire region from pressures, and the achievement in Operation Al-Aqsa Flood will be an indicator to the future that the resistance cannot be defeated.

Qassem added: Today, in the time of resistance, the time of sacrifices, martyrdom, victories, and achieving goals, we will not allow the countries of the world to chart for us the path of our borders and the liberation of our land. Rather, we determine how to liberate the land.

He stressed that we want to completely liberate our land, and the political options are consistent in this direction.

Qassem pointed out that the Al-Aqsa flood is a mighty, great act that dug deep into the Israeli entity and its fruits will come in the near future. He pointed out that “Israel’s crimes did not achieve anything  during 50 days in Gaza.”

For his part, Sheikh Nabil Qaouk, a member of Hezbollah’s Central Council, said: “Israel “was defeated in Gaza, and the defeated cannot impose their conditions, and those who want to market Israeli goals and demands should despair, because we will not allow the enemy to achieve any gains in a time of victories.

Qassem concluded: We will not allow any of the conditions that we established in July 2006 to be changed.
