With the participation of Syria, the World Radiocommunication Conference continues activities in Dubai
Represented by the Director General of the Telecommunications and Post Regulatory Authority, Engineer Manhal Junaidi, Syria has participated in the World Radiocommunication Conference in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
More than 4,500 government officials from 193 countries and regions, and representatives of 900 international organizations, universities and companies, participate in the conference, which began last Monday, to discuss the future of the radiocommunications sector.

The activities of the Conference will last 4 weeks and include discussion sessions on digital applications based on the “5th generation” feature and technologies emerging this year as well as the impacts on the future of the communications sector, technologies, industries and related global plans.
The Conference activities also include in-depth dialogues for regional groups and participating countries aimed at agreeing to update the global radio regulations and review international agreements related to radiocommunications.
