TEHRAN (ST) -Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili has  slammed the West and the U.S. over their silence over Israel’s crimes in Gaza and termed it a clear crystal evidence against Western countries’ claims of human rights.

In a meeting with Syrian Deputy Prime Minister Qadri Jamil and Syrian Minister of Reconciliation Ali Haidar here on Sunday, Jalili said the U.S. has strategic relations with Zionist regime and is an accomplice to the Zionists in committing such crimes in Gaza and it cannot be a supporter of democracy.

He reiterated that the Western countries that support “Israel” are responsible for the bloodshed in Gaza and killing of children and women.

Jalili also said that supporting the resistance will be key to the unity among all groups in Syria and added that,” Today the resistance is the axis of unity in the region and Muslim world against Zionist regime.”

He went on to say that today Syria is paying the price for its support of Palestine Resistance.
