20-50% discount on carpets at the Umayyad Complex in Damascus

DAMASCUS, Nov.21, (ST)-Today, the Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection opened the carpet and rugs exhibition, which is held by the Syrian Trade Corporation branch in Damascus, in cooperation with the “Adia” Carpets and Furnishings Company at the Umayyad Complex in Damascus.

The exhibition includes a wide variety and different sizes of woolen carpets of high quality and at competitive prices, compared to similar products in the markets, with discounts ranging from 20- 50%,  in addition to the possibility of purchasing in installments for state employees through the Savings Bank, for five years, and selling to the families of the martyrs and the wounded for 50. % of the advertised price for all items and types.

Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Mohsen Abdel Karim Ali asserted the importance of cooperation between commercial and industrial actors to shoulder their social and national responsibility, especially in light of the current economic conditions to ease the financial burdens on citizens.He referred to the necessity of holding such exhibitions to market and support National products and delivering them to the widest possible segment of citizens at competitive prices and high quality.

For his part, the Governor of Damascus, Eng. Muhammad Tariq Krishati, stressed the importance of the exhibition as it is one of the largest exhibitions held in the governorate, calling on citizens to visit the exhibition and benefit from the offers and discounts, especially with the availability of a wide variety, types and sizes of woolen and synthetic carpets.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Adia Company, Abdul Qader Hanifa, clarified that the aim of their participation in the exhibition is to enhance cooperation between the public and private sectors and to benefit from the geographical spread of the Syrian trade complexes and halls, to display their products of carpets and rugs and reach the largest possible segment of beneficiaries, indicating that work is underway to hold Similar exhibitions in a number of Syrian trade complexes and halls in the governorates.
