Syrian Arab Army Launches Accurate Strikes in Aleppo, Thwarts Infiltration Bid from Lebanon

PROVINCES,(ST)_Terrorist groups’ infiltration bid from Lebanon into Syria has been  thwarted, as accurate strikes have been launched by army units and the headquarters  of the terrorist groups in Yarmouk camp has been attacked by the camp’s locals. 

The official news agency reported on Friday that the army units, in cooperation with border guards, foiled armed terrorist groups’ attempt to sneak from the Lebanese territories into the southern al-Qusyer countryside in central Homs province.

It quoted a military source as citing that as many as 15 terrorists were eliminated and several others wounded in Sned town and al-Heswani farm in the southern al-Qusyer countryside.

The source added that cars and two mortars plus rocket launchers were also destroyed in the said areas, noting that several terrorist groupings were targeted in Wadi Hajjar, Krom Shmes, Qba’a, Wadi Shmes, Wadi Hawwara, and Kherbet Hawwar to the west of Hasya’a city and in towns of al-Khaledeyeh and al-Ghasebeyeh in the same province [Homs].

Besides, the army units also warded off an attack on a garrison in al-Dar al-Kabera area outside Homs province.

An unknown number of terrorists died in Homs province and in northern Aleppo province where the army units reportedly clashed with terrorists trying to infiltrate towards Carlton Hotel and launched accurate operations against terrorist groupings in the surrounding of the central prison and in towns of Babis and Ma’aret al-Arteq.

Terrorists’ cars targeted

The losses of the foreign-backed terrorists were not only in souls as the army units targeted many of their cars outside Quneitra , Damascus and Daraa provinces.

The army units targeted several cars for terrorists coming from Tranja town towards Tlol al-Quneitra and near mills in Adra al-Balad in Damascus countryside as well as on the outskirt of Othman town in Daraa province. 

Dozens of terrorists, some from the so-called the Islamic Front, were mowed down in the said areas and in Jobar, Darayya, Duma, al-Mleha, Zebdin, Der al-Asafir, Yalda, al-Zabadani, al-Rhebe and Khan al-Sheih outside the capital [Damascus].

Jeroud explosion

More terrorists, including four of foreign nationals, perished as a result of a car bomb’s explosion in Jeroud area outside Damascus amid reports of quarrels  between terrorist groups in Yabroud and al-Tal area outside Damascus.

The quarrels resulted in the death of many terrorists.

Bid to attack locals

Meanwhile, it was said that the army units pounded several terrorists’ hideouts in towns of Eib, al-Jesri and Rajm al-Ghezlan and warded off attacks on locals in the north-southern side of Jasem town and to the west of Belal al-Habashi mosque and in al-Sebeh quarter in southern Daraa province.

Other hideouts were wiped out in the northern Lattakia countryside, precisely in Beit arab town which is affiliated to al-Rabe’a area.

A military source announced names of two terrorists of Chechen and Saudi nationals among the dead in the said town. 

Yarmouk camp

In a separate development, Alikhbaria alSoreyeh TV channel reported that the Yarmouk camp’s locals attacked headquarters of terrorist groups including the local council in the camp.

No further details were reported.

Last week, the terrorist groups in the camp hampered the delivery of aid to persons there, according to Palestinian sources.

The US, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, France are among the countries that sponsor the terrorist groups operating in Syria.
