Venezuelan President: The world must stop genocide in Gaza

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro called on the international community to put pressure to stop the unprecedented massacre taking place in Gaza Strip.

Media quoted Maduro as saying in his weekly program on Venezuelan television: “This genocide reminds us of the massacres committed by the Nazi leader Adolf Hitler during World War II,” warning of “the danger of remaining silent in the face of these acts of genocide.”

Maduro added: “There is a racist, Nazi extremist right in Tel Aviv at the head of the Israeli government, and we must prepare to defend true human values and the values of the nation against the extreme right that appears in the world.”

Maduro also called on the people of the world to take to the streets and press to stop the genocide, punish its perpetrators, and achieve justice.

Maduro has previously expressed on more than one occasion his support for Palestine and his solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip, calling for urgent action to stop the barbaric Israeli aggression targeting the Strip.
