Venezuelan Foreign Minister: We will support the imposition of an oil embargo on Israel

The Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil Pinto announced his country’s support for the imposition of an oil embargo on the Israeli entity to stop its crimes against the Palestinians in Gaza.

The Venezuelan Foreign Minister as reported by Novosti Agency, described what the Palestinian people are being exposed to in the Gaza Strip as “a  crime” and it is a violation of all international agreements in the field of humanitarian law, stressing that the Israeli entity is committing genocide and Venezuela is insisting on a ceasefire without any conditions and organizing the   acceptance of humanitarian aid.

Pinto pointed out that Venezuela does not export oil to Israel, and does not have any diplomatic relations with it, but Caracas will support any measures that will be adopted in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) to resolve the situation in Gaza.

Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian called for a ban on oil supplies to the Israeli entity, and for it to be tried for the “war crimes” it committed against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
