Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Forced evacuation of Al Shifa Medical Complex a new ethnic cleansing crime

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry on Saturday condemned Israel’s forced evacuation of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, describing it as a new ethnic cleansing crime that comes within the framework of the genocide being committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people.

The ministry said in a statement “The evacuation of Al-Shifa Medical Hospital represents an official Israeli insistence on completing the war of extermination against the Palestinian presence in Gaza City and the north of the Strip”.

“This deepens the humanitarian and environmental catastrophe facing the Strip. It is also a literal embodiment of the calls of extremist Israeli officials who incite and demand the burning of Gaza, as they previously called for and practiced in the burning of Huwara,” it added, according to WAFA News Agency.

Hundreds of wounded, ill, displaced people and physicians were forced today by the Israeli occupation forces to evacuate Al Shifa Medical Complex and walk to the south of Gaza Strip.

In another statement, the ministry condemned the Israeli occupation’s massacre in Al-Fakhoura School, in Jabalia, which led to the martyrdom and the wounding of hundreds of displaced people who found shelter in this school.

The ministry stressed that this massacre as well as the rest of the Israeli massacres aim at ending any Palestinian presence in the entire northern Gaza Strip.
