Two Palestinians  injured and 69 arrested during Israeli occupation forces’ storming of areas in the West Bank

Two Palestinians were injured and 69 others were arrested today, during the Israeli occupation forces’ storming of various areas in the West Bank.

Wafa Agency reported that the occupation forces stormed Al-Fara’a camp, south of Tubas, amidst gunfire, wounding two Palestinians and arresting a Palestinian.

The occupation forces arrested 68 Palestinians during their raids on several neighborhoods in Jericho and the towns of Abu Shkhidem, Kobar, Bir Zeit, Abu Qash, and Al-Mughayir in Ramallah, Dura, Beit Kahil, Beit Surif, Beit Awa, and Masafer Yatta in Hebron, Kafr Dan, Kafr Ra’i in Jenin, Farata in Qalqilya, and Husan in Bethlehem, Qusra, Yasid, and Al-Laban Al-Sharqiya in Nablus.

The Israeli settlers stormed Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron, and began constructing a settlement road linking two settlements established on the area’s lands.

Head of the village council in Masafer Yatta, Nidal Younis, said: The length of the road is more than 12 km and threatens to seize 13 thousand dunums of Palestinian land, warning that if this settlement plan is implemented, the Masafer Yatta area will be isolated from Shafa Yatta to the east, thus becoming completely besieged. This will lead to stifling the Palestinian communities in these areas and restricting them in favor of expanding settlement.
